Okay, so my issue with this place (perhaps life) is obvious. There was a huge amount of change and unfortunately I am left with dealing with it. I just plugged in my headphones to my ipod, and started listening to "Face To Face." Who like "Save Ferris" have called it quits. The song launched me back in time. To a happier place, which at the time seemed like just a place. The place Cal Poly Pomona, it was when Face to Face came to Cal Poly to play for BroncoFest. It was awesome. There was a pit, my friends were all there, no one had kids, or jobs (I'm meaning like 40 hour a week cubicle life jobs), or lived 425 miles away. We were all there, yelling, screaming, pitting, singing, falling. You name it we were doing it. It was awesome, to think that not more than about 3 months later this band would call it quits? Or that probably 6 months later one friend would be married, have a child, and off in colorado, another friend would have a child, and be preparing to move out to ohio. And of course I would be up here in nerdville. Amazing. You just don't know where life is going to take you. I guess from certain perspectives I'm quite lucky. Some people never move out of their little town. I had an opportunity to stretch my wings. It's just those soo hard to deal with circumstances, like making new friends. I've almost changed from the person that I once was to this other reserved person, that is scared to speak up in meetings and is terrified of my manager. Well here's a good little picture I found!!!! It puts a smile on my face. :-D
