Yesterday, when I got out of bed I felt nothing but pain! I decided this pain just isn't right! So I went to my HMO Kaiser and I scheduled an appointment with a doctor. I had to leave about 45 minutes in advance cause I had to walk like an old man to get to my appointment on the 4th floor on time. So Dr. Lin hooked me up with some Vicodin (woohoo) for the pain of course. I took one last night and I felt no pain. :-) He then said I should go down to the lab and give some blood for a test to see how badly my quadriceps had been inflamed. From what I could gather when a muscle becomes inflamed it gives off these enzymes which could lead to kidney failure. So he said I should go through three IV's and then go down to the lab and take another blood test to see where the level of enzymes in my system are at. I do feel a whole lot better today! I can actually bend my right leg! And I got some Vicodin out of it!!!
