iPod Fanatic

Friday, February 27, 2004 06:47 PM

Okay so I'm itching to buy something that apple has inspired yet again. I really want a Mini, but I really don't see a use for it. So I've decided to buy that Monster FM / Car Charger unit to test out on my way to Los Angeles.

I hope my weekend is either exciting or productive. But I seriously doubt it'll be either.

Almost have everything set up!

Friday, February 27, 2004 01:36 AM

So it seems that your mom let me off tonight so I can sit here and figure out why movable type wasn't working properly in Firefox . So I forgot to put one of the css files in the proper directory, ugh! Oh well so now i'm off and ready to start ranting and raving about anything and everything! :-P Since I found a cool plugin for movable type to post and syntax highlight source code, I think I'll start up a My adventures in C# and the .Net Framework blog. Perhaps I should just call it my Code snippet blog. Who knows I'll figure something out. Ought to be fun. There's a ton of junk to rant about, so it'll be a good waste of time. I've also found another cool plugin for books that i'm reading too. It's suppose to do some cool stuff such as pull all of the info from Amazon.com or something. That ought to be nice. Yet more ways to waste time! It would also be nice to transfer all of my blogs from my other blogs to this one. Just to keep everything in one spot!

Okay I'm a little behind,

Okay I'm a little behind, but was finally able to download the damned thing! One word to explain it, WHOA! I realize Ms. Hilton is a friggin' goddess, and I thought her body as alright, but now I know that her body is bangin'.

What to do, monday mornings

Monday, February 23, 2004 09:07 AM

What to do, monday mornings are soo weird. You know you have the entire work week ahead of you, but I try to ignore that. I actually got my apple bluetooth keyboard to work in linux this morning. I'm totally stoked. I can't wait to go home and play with it! I'm pondering if I should buy yet another microsoft mouse so that I won't have to go back and forth between home and work with my single mouse now. Might not be such a bad investment. On an entirely different note, I'm completely addicted to this Britney Spears song. I can't believe it. I'm a friggin' drone to her money making scheme. What the hell! Who would've thought me? Liking a Britney Spears song? Okay so I didn't pay for the song, but I used that trick that was on slashdot on how to get a winning top for that Pepsi / Apple iTunes giveaway. Kinda cool, I was in line at the market trying to get quarters for laundry and I thought hey I should get a couple of winning pepsi bottles it would be nice to see how that whole iTunes music store works. :-P I then used my winning credit to get a Britney Spears song! I'm in shock. Oh well, I'm sure hell already froze over, cause Apple made iTunes for the Windows Platform.

I think I'm sick again.

I've been trying to think

Thursday, February 05, 2004 12:21 PM

I've been trying to think of a creative name for Merc and HeatxSink's server project. But I can't figure out what to call it. Perhaps "Project Mayhem"? I'm not in a very creative mode today. I'll figure it out by the end of today. My neighbor was over last night. We engaged in a long conversation about a lot of different things. He's really cool to talk to. I'm surprised, he seems like quite a cool guy to chill with. Although for some weird reason I'd rather not try to make anymore friends. I wouldn't want to leave this area and not see them again. It sucks, the conversations I have with my friends back home almost have no real substance anymore. Well all except for Kamikaze, the conversations he and I have are still quite what they always were! It brings a smile to my face to think about our friendship (okay that sounded a little queer). But he is a great friend and i've known him since the summer before i started high school. So I guess great friends always stick around and know you better than that next layer of friendship? There are some college friends that are definitely about staying in touch, and I think that's noble of them to be attempting to keep a line of communication open. That's awesome.

Hello World

Crappy Hello World stuff!

Perhaps it's just me, probably

Tuesday, February 03, 2004 02:39 PM

Perhaps it's just me, probably cause the weather up here is just wet and rainy. But today is an excellent day. I feel good. Perhaps it's the music that i'm listening to. I find it very very feel good. THe band is Jimmy Eat World, the Song is "A Praise Chorus", and the album is Bleed American. If you haven't heard it please get it. It's awesome. Please notice how I said "get it," now for the record that could've meant a multitude of things for example but never ever suggesting; The Music Store ( of your choice, preferebly a used one! ), or a P2P Network ( i.e. Napster, Kazaa, etc. ). So the latter of the two examples if very very illegal and I'd suggest you try to purchase the bands actual cd, or download it on iTunes!

Okay watched the super

Monday, February 02, 2004 10:17 AM

Okay watched the super bowl last night, I thought the game was awesome! Such a huge battle on both defense and offense. But for some reason people can't get over this picture!!!! Okay I agree that was bad, really really bad. There's soo many younger children that were up and watching the super bowl. But I certainly hope that a majority of them didn't see that. I'm used to the MTV shock and awe kind of Cable TV format so at first I was numb. It wasn't till later that I realized that I was watching a non-cable station! I guess all I'd have to say is "Oh well?"
