This Article is interesting and talks about the future of linux on the desktop, and what hurdles are ahead. Either this is complete rant, or some real fortune telling. I don't think either desktop should win, I think it should be a matter of practicality. Some people like to drive hybrids, others like to drive SUV's. It's a matter of purpose. I think this whole competition thing is great for the consumer no matter what. And it will drive the cost of Windows either up or down. Depending on how fast M$ can come to market with something that really turns heads, is secure, and is not bug infested. Which is something the redmond people have had problems with!
