Lucas decided to show up to a convention, here's the article where I snagged this picture from. So, he's going to move Lucasfilms into Television, and is going to do a live action series show. Hrmmm, has he seen what has happened to the Star Trek franchise? HELLO? You already fucked up the movies, which was suppose to be hard to do! I know why, he fucked something up in this third episode, he had to, so I bet something doesn't match up between III and IV, and his solution is.....tada....bastardize it some more. This is just plain sad, all I have to say is episode III better be good, and they better off JarJar Binks. I mean come on, Lucas put himself in the movie along with his two daughters, and on top of that he let Spielberg direct some of the fighting scenes. Honestly this doesn't look good.
Oh no, a tv series!

Started work on Saturn again. Finally decided to go back and look over the huge amount of code i've generated. So far so good, when I look at the code I wrote, I don't get that usual feeling of..."Why did I do that?" Which of course is really good. On an entirely different, but cool note the number of people I've observed with an IPod shuffle is a surprisingly considerable number. Which to me says, $$$$ in Apple's bank. Other than that life is good. Picked up the new Jack Johnson last week. And WOW, awesome music. When I heard he was back in the studio, I was really happy to hear it, cause I've pretty much worn my ears out listening to his first two albums. Another album I can't wait to hear is the new Audioslave album entitled "Out of Exile." I'm sure it'll be a hit, most of their U.S. tour is sold out, and I don't know if I'll go and "scalp" tickets, i'm heavily considering it.

A really funny moment in human interaction occured when I was on one of the famous San Francisco Cable Cars, going up Powell Street. This lady and her husband/boyfriend rushed towards the cable car, with all of this luggage in tow. Of course this was right as we were about to go up one of the many hills on Powell. Before the driver could even hear the crazy lady, he said about three times, "NO!!" She was like yelling at him, in a very bitchy tone, "We've been trying to get on the past three cars." The conductor replies, "Sorry, we carry people honey, not luggage!!" Then he puts the cable car into a higher gear, and pulls up the hill. Pure comedy.

It's been a pretty busy week. Been learning all about exposing a .NET assembly as a COM Object!! Then calling and using the COM object in C++. It's pretty sweet, unfortunately it's not a standard. :-/ Oh well, regardless it's still a great thing to know, and a slick way of invoking and manipulating managed code via COM.
I'm wondering how much more overhead cost there is associated with a Union Made product. I'm also wondering if some products in China, or Taiwan would totally just make little pieces of paper like this one to sell with their product!!!??Spoof?

iPod Shuffle

Woohoo, I got one of these little things, and I have to say, awesome! Granted flash drive based mp3 players have been around for awhile, but I really like this one.
I went on a bike ride with it and it was perfect. I hated hauling my really heavy iPod compared to this tiny thing, plus when one is doing some kind of excerise or activity they don't care about what song is playing, they just want to hear the music, or move to the next song, or just let it shuffle and goto which every random song is next. Just feel for the little thing that's on a lanyard around your neck and click the next button. I can imagine what this will be like with my Gyro Nine MX helmet, while snowboarding!I also like how it charges through the USB port, which means no batteries or another charger to be worried about hauling around with me. And of course who could seriously not like the fact that you can use it as a usb thumb drive! I also got it working with GtkPod, just like I got it working with my other iPod. It would be nice to port GtkPod to managed code with Mono, it could integrate with SharpMusique.Yet More Death

The Pope is now dead, I had no memories of this guy. My mom told me that she had took me and my brother with her mom once, to see the Pope. The Pope did one of those blessing hand signals, while in a car passing by the street corner we were on. I don't even remember that.
